Hey there, I’m Artemus.

Hey there, I’m Artemus.

I’m a UX designer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area.

My path to UX and design didn’t come through a single “a-ha” moment, rather, it was more like a series of subtle pulls: sketching out site layouts for fun, reworking workflows to feel smoother, or just feeling oddly satisfied when something was organized in a way that made total sense. Eventually, I realized that what I love most is diving into complex systems, surfacing the moments that matter, then simplifying and elevating the experience until it just clicks.

My approach to design blends empathy, observant problem solving, and a knack for building scalable systems shaped in part by my past life in recruiting where building for people and optimizing systems were at the heart of what I did. I care deeply about usability, flow, and making sure the way something works feels as good as the way it looks.

Outside of design, you can usually find me with a cup of coffee, travelling, playing video games, making music, or spending time with my family. I’ve also been known to fall into hyperfocus mode when something sparks my curiosity. Whether that’s getting way too deep in building custom LEGO sets for my son, geeking out over mechanical keyboards, or exploring vintage camera lenses. I like figuring out how things work, and then making them better.
